Prior to founding The Impact Group, Don held executive Sales roles for many well-respected technology companies. Don has helped businesses grow their topline in-part through savvy problem solving and streamlining business processes to accelerate growth. Don at-heart is a technologist and is proud to have contributed to successful product developments in emerging tech. He has excelled in selling Storage, AI and Cloud technologies in a competitive marketplace. This combination of Business and Technological prowess was the driving force behind creating The Impact Group.

I have had the pleasure of being part of Don's global team in the Zerto Cloud business for the last year and a half. Don is a Leader, a mentor, and a friend. He's seemingly available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and gives 150% of his energy to the company and his team. Don is of course a great salesman, but on top of that he's got a brilliant long term view of the company, and the strategy. Don also an extremely deep technical understanding of our product, the market and our cloud providers.

There are sales professionals and there is Don. I have hired 100's of sales folks over the years; Don was the most difficult to hire and one of the most impressive sales leaders I have witnessed in action. Don has tremendous common sense and relationship development skills. He can call and manage complex sales campaigns at any level within both emerging and large enterprises. Don would bring all the necessary skills and experience to any organization looking to grow their sales or business development organizations, lead a team, and/or drive a go-to-market initiatives. The thing I most regret about my acquaintance with Mr. Wales is that he lived in the east coast while I was on the west. A fun guy to hang out with, funny, witty and generous, one of the best sales persons we ever had - honest, caring, devoted and over-exceeds his quotas constantly. Always leaves you wanting more of his companion, I used to take long, boring corporate jobs in New York just so I can spend some time with him. I wish ours paths will cross again.
